About Reece Cairns
I'm Reece, a music composer and producer originally from Manchester but now based in Liverpool after graduating with a Music degree from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2016.Currently I am the Head of Content Creation for Musical Futures - an international brand focused on improving the quality of music education in schools. Roles include all types of music creation and constructing video tutorial of key instrumentation to assist students in their learning. Away from this I produce pop/dance music for local artists at my home studio as well as regularly assisting at Parr Street Studios (as used by Coldplay, Rihanna, Stereophonics, etc). My own work achieved national airplay and entered Music Week’s Upfront Club Chart on three occasions.Composition expertise: TV, Film, Advertisements, commercial marketing video assets, Live Events audio. Placements include Channel 4, E4, BT Sport, NBC, among others.Music styles covered: Orchestral, Pop, Rock, Piano, Folk, Latin, Dance, Hip-Hop, Ambient, etc. My production skills include: Composition, music production, recording, audio mixing and mastering.
