About Reece Doherty

I have been horizontal Directional Drilling pretty much since i graduated year 12, I have had the opertunity to drill in various conditions and various methods of drilling from conventional rail head and ducks bill to Directional mud motoring to Directional air hammering I have been able to train my skills in mud mixing monitoring and altering to optimize it's performance in various ground conditions with mud mixing comes cleaning I have used various cleaning systems of various sizes with various sizes in elliptical and linear shaker systems with various sized hydro cyclones I have had the chance to hone my basic mechanical skills branching into hydraulics and electrics, rebuilding and maintaining mud pumps such as kerr pumps and Triplex pumps I have used IGPS systems from the old Mark to the direct wired SSTI system I have made my way from the civil side of drilling into the oil and gas side but have decided to specialize into mud I am currently training my skills with centrifuge systems and dewatering operations but I hope to end up training into mud engineering and travel the world with work I am a quick learner and strive to apply myself to become the best asset possible to the company I work for. safety is my number one priority at home and work I have taken every opportunity i could to get involved in all the OH & S procedures I could so i can help any company i may work for currently studying to further my experience both in the the maintenance and office / management side
