About Reece Samuelson

I am passionate about the natural world and have a spirit of inquiry that leads me to seek knowledge and experience related to protecting, enhancing, and restoring natural resources for the wonder and enjoyment of future generations. I have become increasingly interested in working on the conservation and management of native aquatic species throughout the southwest region of the United States. I have been trained by Colorado Parks and Wildlife on the methods used to monitor many different native fish and amphibian species, and use data collected from monitoring to formulate practical management strategies aimed at conserving native species. I have partnered with numerous state and federal agencies, non-governmental organizations and private landowners in order to monitor and conserve threatened and endangered native species.
