Reed is a deep tech CFO/investor/FP & A/corp dev executive with over 15 years of M&A, operational, and finance experience in climate tech, defense/space tech, and health tech in the US and UK. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Northwestern University and completed a quarter of an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Reed began his career supporting technology commercialization for NASA and serving as a private equity analyst on $100M+ M&A transactions in the Aerospace and Defense industry. He is a three-time founder and has served as a fractional CFO for nine startups, driving over $50M in capital structuring. Additionally, he has led two startup exits in the CFO role. He has served on four boards of directors and has been responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and exiting transactions in capital-intensive and government-driven markets. Reed's expertise includes financial planning and analysis (FP & A), strategic planning, global P&L oversight, and fostering strong partnerships in both sales and engineering environments.
