About Reena Iyer

I am an Architect by education with a major in Sustainable design. I have over 18 years of professional experience, having worked and taught in three continents across the globe. Pursuing my passion for design, I completed my Masters Degree in Architecture in Colorado, USA and worked there as a senior architectural designer on high-end residential projects. Following that, I ran my practice in India, working on Architectural and Interior projects. I also had the opportunity to teach design at the University during that time. My company was registered with the Green Building Council and we were active participants of the panel for policy writing. Its been a truly wonderful journey leading to Australia and I has been a pleasure being here for the last 8 years. I have been a part of the design team at Martin Friedrich Architects and worked on residential architecture and interiors. I am very excited about teaching at degree level again as I am very passionate about sharing my experience and giving back to the design community.
