About Reena Kaushik

I am an experienced organic chemist proficient in designing compounds, conducting multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and compound characterization using advanced spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, UV, IR, and MS. My expertise extends to chromatographic methods, including HPLC and column chromatography, for compound purification and analysis. I am skilled in scientific software such as ChemDraw, JEOL, as well as SciFinder. Additionally, I am well-versed in laboratory safety practices and FDA/ICH regulations, with a diverse skill set in project management, troubleshooting, and leadership. During my research fellowship at the University of Delhi, I synthesized diverse small molecules using innovative methodologies and developed new derivatives of natural compounds through C-C bond formation. I have extensive experience in handling sensitive reagents and efficiently troubleshooting synthetic processes. I collaborated with colleague to design and develop a novel catalytic system for click reactions. In addition to my research experience, I have four years of teaching experience, providing personalized tutoring services and lecturing master's-level students in organic chemistry, spectroscopy, and synthesis techniques.
