Background

About Reggie T.

Having worked for Planning & Optimisation in Network Group MTN-SA and in IS in MTN-SA puts me in a great position to understand the business and drive software solutions forward. Having worked in Agile teams gives me an understanding of how certain projects can be delivered quicker. Project management has always been something I had to do, even if it was only from and individuals point of view. Having dealt with suppliers and managing deliverables gave me another field I got exposure in. Development in PL/SQL has given me some insight in the development principle and comes naturally to me. As specialist in Network Group I had an indirect authority role for years where I've learned how to work with people in a management capacity. I have gained knowledge in Charging Systems and Core Network through the work that I have done on MTNZone and XDR. All of the above not only gives me a good foundation to remain in IT an specialize even further, but also would fit a Senior Manager role perfectly in the organisation. Owner of the MTN Loyalty program in EIS. The Microsoft Python certification, Google Data Engineer certification and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification (scored 921) is a testament to my continued drive to develop my skillset. I have recently been involved in the Hadoop stack and Machine Learning at MTN, leading a team of ML/Ops engineers.
