About Regina Czerr

Regina Czerr oversees the Wayfinding and Signage Program for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, one of the fastest growing airports in the world, currently ranking 6th in passenger traffic and 5th in air traffic globally. As part of the Aviation Development team, Regina is responsible for the planning, visual communication strategy, design, and implementation of wayfinding and signage throughout the terminal and airport property. She led the multi-disciplinary design team for the visioning and design development of the Airport’s Monumental Entrance project on Wilkinson Blvd featuring the iconic crown monument, large dimensional signage, and extensive landscaping/ streetscape improvements. Project was delivered on time and under the $5 Mil budget. Previously, Regina was the Creative Director at LandDesign, an award-winning urban design firm. She has experience working on multi-disciplinary teams for a wide range of client and project types. Her expertise includes creating visioning and placemaking strategies for land development projects, branding and identity systems, graphic communications, signage, and environmental graphics. During her 13 years with the firm, Regina brought design intelligence and a holistic approach to problem-solving that added depth and meaning to the stories she crafted for clients. Regina Czerr earned a Bachelor of Industrial Design from North Carolina State University, School of Design in Raleigh, North Carolina.
