About Regina Wright

As the State Public Guardian Liaison at the California Department of Aging, I leverage my extensive experience in health and human services to protect vulnerable individuals from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and self-neglect. I serve as the department's liaison with local Public Guardian offices, providing program advice and guidance to department leadership. I also conduct research on probate conservatorship issues and less restrictive alternatives, attending stakeholder conferences and meetings. In addition to my current role, I have held various positions in the public sector, including Staff Services Manager I at the California Department of Health Care Services. There, I led hiring activities, supervised a team overseeing three projects, and trained and coached staff to create a high-performing team.
