About Reginald Decoste

He is currently employed as a GL for Training Services and Technical support for the CC-130J Air Mobility Training Center in Trenton, ON. As a Project Pilot and a STRIVE Specialist in the Military Deployment Department at CAE. Some of the projects that he povided STRIVE support or Air Combat expertise are; Singapore, Aermacchi M-346, Hawk-128, CASA 295 as a STRIVE Instructor, OTSP as a STRIVE Specialist, Air Combat AI development for Singapore project, NH-90 PFI STRIVE Instructor and he also supports Marketing effort by presenting the capability of STRIVE CGF. As a CAT Instructor, Mission Coordinator and Test Director on the CF-18 ADCTS program. In this capacity he is responsible to provide training to the CF-18 Fighter Pilot, coordinate LHN mission and for the acceptance of new software. He is also responsible to develop complex scenario and the programming of the RWR. As a Group Leader of Visual Product Development and Military Training for the Training Solution department at CAE, he ensures the good conduct of projects under his supervision using sound management techniques. He provides guidance and direction to pilots and engineers for the development of new software and hardware design. Analysing customer’s requirements, he is able to ensure that the client will have the right device for the job. Providing a Training Solution is the key to his success. A quick study with meticulous attention to detail, he is able to adapt to changing conditions to achieve mission-critical objectives. A good judge of people, he is at home with the use of highly sophisticated technology in engineering, logistical and information processing systems. He has effective presentation skills and is adept in speaking in public and interfacing with the media. Possessing very good negotiating skills, he is persuasive and able to develop a quick rapport with people of different cultural backgrounds.
