About Reginaldo Mattos

I started my career in a multinational company called Halliburton Energy Services in 1998. As a field engineer, I worked in offshore drilling operations with Logging While Drilling tools, where I could use the knowledge learned in my bachelor's degree and get my hands dirty, and sometimes my arms, head, legs. This was a great opportunity to know a lot of different places, meet many people and do some amazing training in the US. After 8 years, I was a senior engineer and took an office position to coordinate the jobs I was previously working on. During this time I had to learn the soft skills working and with an MBA in Business to speed up the process. During the period in the office, I took some different positions in leadership, planning, quality and technical support for internal and external stakeholders. Currently, I am honing my skills by taking a post degree course in Canada to be able to develop my career in Canada and have a deep knowledge of finance, negotiations, marketing and project management. Outside of work, I am a family person that enjoy my time with my family and sons and kitesurfing when possible.
