I am an experienced information technology professional with an extensive background in network operations, systems administration, and cybersecurity. I hold a Bachelor of Computer Information Services and Minor in Business from Mount Royal University. Currently I serve as a System Administrator with Alberta Health Services, where I deliver essential infrastructure services with respect to data protection by monitoring overall health including daily backup jobs and storage targets, remediating issues, performing recovery of files for fileservers, databases, and virtual machines within the predefined business timelines for regular operations and disaster recovery. I manage the backup and recovery for several thousand physical and virtual servers located across multiple datacenters totaling 30+ PB through CommVault, various Dell EMC, and NetApp storage arrays. Prior to my current position, I worked full-time as an IT Service Desk Analyst with Alberta Health Services, where I managed first-level remote troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues within an organization of employees. I completed an average of 60 tickets daily, resolving 80% without escalation and within a 7-8 minute average timeframe. Due to my proven track record, I provided advanced IT support to our senior leaders.
