About Reid Daun

Bringing people together through a shared experience is one of my passions! I am a third year student at the University of Texas at Austin studying how we can better communicate as a leader and a follower. My coursework includes: nonverbal communication, communication between leaders and followers, and leadership styles. Through my coursework I have acquired many skills including critical thinking, employee motivation, listening, and feedback. At my time with Pure Barre I participated and oversaw sales negotiations, organized events, and trained new hires. My daily tasks included cold calling, navigating prospect conflict and maintaining client relations. While working at Pure Barre I worked as a part-time Child Caregiver. Upon this school year, I transitioned to being a Child Caregiver full time. I have been with the same family for almost 3 years now and develop and deliver a daily schedule for them. Balancing activities, supervising and communicating with their parents have helped me further my time management and dependability skills.
