About Reid MacWilliams

History is my passion, and I am particularly interested in military history. I’ve always had an interest in the military of our country as well as those of other, past cultures. I presently work at Great Lakes Athletic Club in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where I am in charge of the back desk. This means I greet and check members into the club at the back entrance. I enjoy working at the club and interacting with the members. My current goal is to complete my degree at the University of Michigan-Flint and then either go on to complete my Masters or find a job in the field of history, as a historian or archivist or in some other position where I can research history. Working to learn and preserve history will enable me to be an important contributor to society, which is very important to me. I believe that there are many things that we can learn from the past, in order to form a better future and I want to be a part of that.
