About Reija Knuutila

I'm a legally trained visionary and Business Director leading the early-stage development of a 4050 MW green hydrogen portfolio in Finland. With a background in law and a passion for future-driven industries, I work at the intersection of regulation, business strategy, financing and large-scale transformation. My experience covers the development and execution of future-focused energy projects — onshore and offshore wind, solar power, hydrogen and green hydrogen, electricity grids, downstream products and battery energy storage (BESS). I bring expertise in financing, financial modeling, loan structuring and project bankability, combined with hands-on experience guiding the technical design of hydrogen plants and their derivatives: ammonia, methanol, e-SAF and methane. I’ve built an entire project portfolio from scratch to large-scale implementation.I truly love project development from land lease agreements to appeals, I step in as a legal expert whenever needed. Known for seeing the big picture while driving fast, real results. Persistent, resilient, curious and just stubborn enough to make things happen. Outside of work, I’m the proud mother of three wonderful children So what’s new on the market — what’s the next big thing? Let’s connect.
