About Reisan Malabanan

The nursing education I have acquired from Centennial College has prepared me to become a competent Registered Practical Nurse. Moreover, I had the opportunity to work in various health care settings such as acute care, long-term care, and rehabilitation facility through my clinical placements in Scarborough and Toronto. In addition, I have completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Paul college of Manila in the Philippines. As a Registered Nurse in the Philippines, I experienced working in several hospital units including emergency and operating room. These clinical experiences helped me develop and refine my strong interpersonal, communication, time management, leadership, culturally sensitive and client-centered care, and critical thinking skills. Also, some of the skills and procedures that I was able to perform include assisting surgeons during major and minor procedures, administration of medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and enteral feedings, insertion of nasogastric tube and urinary catheters, and application of wound dressings. These qualifications and skills are most relevant to meet your facility and/or company’s requirement.
