About Rekha Mishra

HR professional with over 14 years of experience in manufacturing HR with strong exposure across Industrial Relations, HR operations, statutory compliance, workforce governance and HR transformation initiatives within one of India’s leading fertilizer manufacturing organizations. Currently working as Sectional Head – HR at IFFCO Phulpur, supporting HR processes for a workforce ecosystem of approximately 750 employees and 1300+ contract workforce across multiple operating units. My experience spans across performance management, DPC processes, compliance governance, talent acquisition for plant workforce and employee engagement initiatives. I have been actively involved in strengthening workplace culture through structured engagement programs, achieving 85% employee engagement score, and promoting continuous improvement through Kaizen and suggestion schemes. My professional interests include Industrial Relations stability, HR process digitization, workforce capability development and HR governance frameworks. I have contributed to several HR transformation initiatives including digitization of HR processes, SOP development, onboarding improvements and apprenticeship programs under NATS/NAPS supporting future talent pipelines. I have also had the opportunity to represent my organization at national HR forums including NIPM, INSSAN and HRAI, receiving recognitions for HR innovation and best practices including HRAI 40 under 40 Award and NIPM Best HR Practices recognition. I strongly believe HR plays a critical role in enabling organizational effectiveness by balancing people priorities with business needs while fostering a culture of trust, compliance and continuous improvement.
