With over 25 years of experience in pharma and clinical trials, I am a senior leader in clinical operations. My mission is to improve the quality of life for patients by developing new and innovative medicines in various therapeutic areas, such as cardiovascular, respiratory, neuroscience, immunology, rare diseases, and oncology. As a Leader in Clinical Operations, I oversee the delivery, quality, and timelines of multiple clinical trials and programs, managing a team of clinical research associates. I also liaise with external partners, regulators, and industry associations, to ensure compliance, efficiency, and collaboration. I am a strategic thinker, who defines and implements effective strategies to accelerate portfolio delivery and simplify processes, using LEAN methodologies and best practices. I am also a people manager, who motivates and empowers my team to excel and to develop themselves, by creating a safe and supportive environment. I am passionate about bringing the best out of myself and others, and contributing to the advancement of science and medicines for patients.
