About Remember Samu

Remember is an experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer with a demonstrated working history in and with utility companies, engineering consulting firms and academia. Remember worked as a Graduate Engineer in KIBTEK, a Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus utility company. He then worked in the Renewable Energy Design and Applications Research group in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus before joining Grid Operations and Planning Research group in Turkey. Remember then moved to Perth, Western Australia, where he worked as part of the research group for the ARENA-funded project on Carnarvon Distributed Energy Resources Trials before fully joining industry. This was a collaborative work with Horizon Power (a utility company mainly serving regional Western Australia), DLR (a Germany Aerospace Centre, Institute for Solar Research group) and Murdoch University. Over the years, Remember also lectured in different Electrical and Electronics Engineering units in Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus (Guzelyurt, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), Ozyegin University (Istanbul, Turkey), Murdoch University, South Metropolitan TAFE (Perth, Western Australia) and Australia Education Management Group (China, USA, New Zealand and Australia (Victoria)). Remember is an member skilled in Power Systems, Control of Remote Hybrid Microgrids with high PV penetration, PV output Nowcasting/forecasting using All Sky Imager-based techniques and Virtual Power Plant control for minimum PV curtailment. & hl=en
