I fell into the luxury goods industry by chance twenty five years ago and never looked back since. After joining leading cultured pearl producer Autore in Australia, I came back to Europe in 2002 to join well known pearl specialist Euro Pearls/Yoko London and worked there for 14 years. This exciting professional journey fulfilled with diversified experiences led me to define who I am today. I progressed through Yoko London company hierarchy achieving success on multiple level. Some of my key achievements include: • As Head of South Sea Production my primarily role was to supervise the pearls harvest received by the company by drilling, making necklaces and extracting as much selling value possible using my experience in this domain, while also travelling attending trade shows. • As International Sales Manager I travelled extensively, opened and developed new business territories by participating at 27 Trade Shows worldwide annually (EMEA+US) while visiting customers and organising private trunk shows to build up relationship. This journey ledme to met some extraordinary peoples, with some becoming close friends later on. • As Creative Director I was part of the designing and the producing side for the company as well as participating at most jewellery trade shows. I was in charge of sourcing the most adequate materials and create new and refreshing products. This is where I let my imagination and skills truly thrived. • As Managing Director of Remay London, I learned the up and downs of setting up a business on your own, and while it is a very enjoyable and incredible experience, above all, I become well trained at solving problems. This is where my business skills have been truly challenged. I learned to be flexible, juggling multiple roles and developed a knack of picking up new skills quickly. As I’ve advanced through the company, I learned the "do and don't" managing teams and delegate responsibilities while improving my own capabilities. Following 14 successful years at Euro Pearls, I made the transition from fine jewellery to a more modest jewellery business with the launch of my own venture in 2015 called Remay London specialising in all kind of cultured pearls products setup with diamonds and gemstones. I am still to this day running Remay jewellery business.
