Cg sup. primarily skills focused on characters (rigging, Cfx and animation): 17 years films and animated features. 3 years commercials. 2 years video game. I am used to deal with all those tasks related to movie productions: Bid: foreseeing challenges to scale the budget up or down from a limited brief, making assumption for future leverage. Crewing: making sure the crew is big enough and skills covering the challenge and requests to come. Technical involvement: looking after disk space, render projections or any other aspect of a show/technology life. Briefs: writing support documents and briefing supervisors/artists. Making sure complex problem are split to fit departments expertise. Making sure no gap exists in the chain of tasks in order to produce complex result in a simple manner and eliminating hiccup. Clients interactions: assisting the Vfx sup during client call and providing client with requested elements (specs or show delivery) Vendors interactions: providing other vendors assets/workflow outside of proprietary tools. Being able to answer question clearly during calls and email exchanges. Skills Strong knowledge in rigging (Maya), python. Proficient in Nuke, Houdini (lighting/solaris), Unreal, Interest in maths, dynamic and API, problem solving, pipeline or workflow issues. Used to multi-task, prioritize and work to deadlines.
