Creative, strategic brand thinker with a passion for customer centric marketing. With digital rooted in his core, Remko has helped multiple international brands with developing their digital strategy, brand positioning, partnerships and fan communities. Remko Gorter has overseen the marketing and communications for the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s biggest club festival and leading conference for electronic music, for nearly a decade, helping to transition ADE from an offline event into a globally recognised on and offline platform that attracts millions of fans, music industry and media. Under his supervision ADE developed a strong brand identity, transformed its marketing strategy through an extensive customer-centric marketing approach, created multi-channel content streams and campaigned for global brands such as Samsung, KLM, Facebook, KPN, Spotify and many others. In 2016 he launched Bright Minds, an agency specialised in brand marketing to the (electronic) music scene through which he helps brands, artists and events to engage strategically with the most connected music fans ever, personalise fan experiences by creating beautiful and relevant content, run effective campaigns and set up remarkable partnerships. In 2018 he joined the Amsterdam Light Festival. With the realisation of more than 270 artworks, 9 editions and more than 6 million visitors since 2012, this globally recognised event has established itself as a leading light art festival. As marketing manager he successfully rebranded the event and laid down the digital strategy for the years to come. Recently employed at Q-dance, global leader of everything related to the harder styles of dance music with its widely known concepts Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, Qlimax and X-Qlusive. As Digital Marketing Manage responsible for the community driven Q-dance Network and the overarching customer centric digital strategy of the Q-dance brand.
