About Rena Grin

I have over 5 years of experience working in product management and technical writing. Currently, I work as the Proposal Manager for Spectra Logic, where I lead a cross-functional team, responding to business proposal requests that are the right fit for the customer and providing feedback to help people achieve more in their careers! I'm deeply passionate about providing the best information to customers as well as helping people navigate their careers and achieve their career goals. Previously, I worked at Comcast as a Customer Experience Supervisor, utilizing my 11 years in customer service and 3 years leadership expirience to provide guidance and feedback to a team of 12 customer support representatives. I utilized various resources to ensure my team provided a customer-centric experience and if necessary handled customer escalations where I used active listening and de-escalation techniques to resolve issues. I honed my technical support skills as a Tier 1 Technical Support Representative at Rise Broadband. Within the first year, I was promoted to Tier 2 technical support and fell in love with network troubleshooting and working with NOC and Network Admins to resolve customer issues. After 2 years in this role, I was promoted to Tier 2 Supervisor and then got the unique opportunity to stand up the call center's first Chat and Social Media team. If you catch me outside of work, I love expressing my creativity through painting and crocheting, and if I have extra time I love challenging myself with tough video games!
