About Renae Allen

Neonatal clinical trial manager within the PLATIPUS Trial team at the University of Melbourne, currently managing the BabyCCINO Trial and the PROMOAT Trial. With demonstrated expertise in clinical trial start up and long term follow up study coordination, I offer research teams high quality, effective and efficient project management, overseeing all research trial operations, ethics and governance, as well as data management through innovative organisation. I have prioritised and fostered relationships with multidisciplinary teams of researchers & clinicians in newborn research both nationally and internationally, maximising effective collaboration between all stakeholders across the life of research projects. I also have expertise in supporting consumer involvement in all aspects of research.My aim ultimately is to support researchers to achieve timely outcomes, and advance the movement of research findings into policy and practice. I aim to enhance approaches to research communication to ensure the effective dissemination of research priorities, methods and findings to relevant stakeholders to improve the health outcomes of newborns and their families.I have a keen interest in continuing to add to my knowledge base in all areas of clinical trial management and research operations in the neonatal and paediatric research fields.
