I am a fisheries social scientist with a background in ecology, meaning I also undertake multi-disciplinary research. My research is generally fisheries stakeholder (industry and management) driven, and hence very diverse within the social sciences. I am also a fish monger, owning and managing Tobin Fish Tales - a fresh seafood and fish and chip shop which aims to sell primarily local, sustainable seafood, with the story about its source. We aim to provide consumers with information and confidence about where their seafood comes from.
