About Renae Zelvis

A successful leader with distinguished career in the NSW Police Force and more recently in the disability industry. A passion for helping people grow and achieve their goals. With 10 years experience leading teams within the Police, I worked on strengthening my skills in problem solving, communication, leadership and management. I obtained my Diploma in Policing and completed many invaluable courses within the Force. The Police Force moulded my future and made me the resilient person I am today. Since leaving in 2018 I tried different sectors and found that helping people was where I fit best. It brought me to the disability industry in 2022 where I worked in SIL accommodation. After a short time I went on to open a brand new home with Forsight, one of the first palliative care homes in the company. Quick to learn about the NDIS I led a team that supported people with? disabilities. I was oncall 24/7 providing my team with ongoing support. In late 2023 I moved onto The Flagstaff Group and challenged myself to help people with a disability achieve their goals and live remarkable lives. I was given the opportunity to became lead of school to work for Shoalhaven & Macarthur in early 2024. I hope to bring some positive change to the industry and utilise the skills I have worked hard on in my past endeavours. Being a mum with a young family is no easy feat so work life balance is extremely important to me. My husband and children are my biggest supporters. The sky is my limit.
