About Renai White

I have worked in the children's services industry for over 23 years. After face to face business managing and teaching I decided I needed a change and educated myself to be a trainer and assessor. Whilst training and assessing I also worked for a local public school as a Teachers aide relief specialising working with children with learning difficulties and disabilities. During that time I was offered a training position with ET Australia with the first ever BOOST students. I finished there and began some work with a Private consultant in children's services Alana Dan Consultancy and also Tuggerah Lakes Community College. I was Alana's operation support manager organising events, creating documentation, workshop presentations and her 'right hand man' as they say. Once I completed my contract with TLKC I began working for which is in Queensland and was their Central Coast Consultant still while working for Alana. Over a period of time I found that my skills were being wasted just as a Operations support so I created my own business called 'Be Inspired Solutions'. Be Inspired was the start of a new me. I gained some casual work to fill in my time with Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College - Berkeley Vale campus as their Farm Assistant. Wow what a journey I had. Two days training and assessing and 3 days at the Farm. I got to learn new skills and also got to work with older children. I completed my contract with and the farm in May 2014. I started working for Ability Options as a Job Active case manager. I worked out I was too caring and felt that I was better suited to DES - disabilities where you can nurture people. I also started working for Reach for training in Newcastle as a distance education trainer. Although my Business is not going any more I still to this day have my Facebook page open and from time to time share information. Whilst still working for Job Centre in DES I decided to buy a Children's Play Centre and Wauchope as fulltime work was not enough! I would work fulltime on the Central Coast and work weekends at the cafe. Over time I felt that I needed to step away from the business and focus on myself and family. I had the opportunity one day of looking for employment for a client of mine and stumbled on the position with Lifestart and now I have been a successful Early Childhood Coordinator for the past 6 years. This is a position I gain so much reward from. I am one of those people that just gets on and gets a job done.
