About Renata Kopczyk

I am an attorney and I have PhD in law. I specializing in both, Polish and International commercial law as well as fast developing sport law. Nowadays I am also working as an assistant professor in Department of Humanities (Wroclaw University of Technology). As a part of implementation in National Center of Science Grants Achievement I am supporting the Department of Law at University of Wroclaw. Thus, I teach Sports Law courses. I am providing legal services to the market at my law office. It gives unique possibility to find unexpected solutions where practice goes with theory. Moreover, I am attending the supervisory board provided by State Treasury. I specialize in International Law, EU Law and Sporty Law which develops pretty fast. Therefore, I am working as a disciplinary judge assistant for Polish Basketball Association and also as a judge in Disciplinary Panel of POLADA. I am also a member of the committee on legal affairs provided by general management of Polish University Sporty Association. Next, I am national expert of research program established by Asser's Institute ”Examination of rights of sport organizers in the European Union”. Since November 2016 I've been vice - president of the Lower Silesia football court of arbitration. And also I am a judge of sports aerobic since 2001. I am an author of several scientific publications (including monograph) mainly connected with international sport law. Beneficiary of domestic and international scholarships and grants. I'm also a beneficiary of national as well as international scholarships and awards of grant for scientific research. I spend my free time realizationing myself on sports field and representing the legal fraternity during sports events, where I actively participate.
