I am currently the National Managing Partner of Tax Services at Grant Thornton LLP. I have over 25 years of public accounting and industry experience. In addition to my client service responsibilities, I am is responsible for the delivery of quality services, operational needs, and welfare of employees within the US Tax practice. Experience: I have experience with both public and private companies in a variety of industries. Much of my expertise has been managing the global tax risk with companies that manufacture and distribute consumer and industrial products. Specialized industry areas include: food & beverage, automotive, technology, and software. Technical areas of expertise include: Global Risk management assessment, mitigation and strategy development, accounting methods, research & development tax credits, inventory planning, IRC 199, ASC 740, and strategic tax function integration. My prior experience includes driving tax saving initiatives as head of the tax function of a multinational public company. My industry experience has also helped anticipate and understand my clients’ needs. Proactively offering sound solutions to potential obstacles has been invaluable to my clients.
