Hello, I am a sales leadership professional with a lengthy career in the regional news media industry. My role focuses on creating effective advertising campaigns for small businesses, community and customer engagement strategies, leading and coaching a successful sales team. Over my career, I have worked with many managers but those that invested the time in listening, mentoring and developing individuals beyond what they thought was possible had a profound impact on my leadership beliefs. This inspiration has guided my leadership journey in the media industry creating a passion for coaching sales professionals and managers to achieve success. Leadership matters, leading by example matters and culture matters. Inspirational leaders have the power to create dynamic workplace cultures that empower and inspire individuals to believe in themselves by recognising success and constructively providing feedback. As an advocate for health and wellness in the workplace, I believe in creating an environment that increases employees mental and physical wellbeing by practices such as lunch time walking, walking meetings and brain breaks to improve creative thinking. As an active learner, I am taking my career to the next level by undertaking a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) with UniSA. On finalising my degree, I want to share my learnings with others through the development of individuals, improving company cultures, implementation of successful recruitment strategies, create policies and procedures to enhance safety and engagement in workplaces, and utilise my creative, problem solving skills to influence business strategies.
