Louisville, Kentucky 1996-1998 SICU nurse at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana North Carolina 1998 - 2009 Brent Ellmers General Surgery & Trinity Wound Care We lived in Coats for 2 years and then Dunn since I Love Harnett County, NC May 2017 - 2019 Appointed by President Trump to serve in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as Regional Director of Region IV. Tasked with providing executive leadership as the primary representative for the Secretary of Health and Human Services including coordination of healthcare related intergovernmental and external affairs within the eight states of southeastern region. Jan. 2011 - Dec. 2016 US House of Representatives - Congresswoman serving North Carolina. Motivated to run in 2010 as a mom and a nurse with great concerns for our healthcare system. In Congress served 2 terms on the Energy & Commerce Committee Subcommittees: Health, Energy & Power and Communications & Technology. Also served 1 term on the Agricultural, Small Business and Foreign Affairs Committees.
