Eight years of experience in a manager role focused on the technical enhancement of functionality of various systems and applications to meet stakeholders business needs, production issue triage and resolution and process improvement. Currently managing a staff of professional business technical analysts focused on application development for large strategic initiatives impacting enrollment and billing. Leading the team in conversion and migration efforts of enrollment data and associated capabilities for large commercial clients such as Minnesota, AmeriHealth New Jersey and Independence Blue Cross. Accomplishing this while leading the team thru the transition from Waterfall to Agile project methodology. Performing in the Delivery/Product Owner role for six products for six scrum teams. Participated in the stand-up of the Lean organizational structure to streamline production verses project efforts. As a result became a Highmark Six Sigma Yellow Belt.Developed Business rules and QA processes to insure quality and standardization. Lead Release Management efforts to track and dashboard the progress of large quarterly software, functional capability and configuration releases. Lead focused efforts to reduce the backlog of defects. Resulted in the lowest defect inventory in 3-4 year history. Established best practices for production issue triaging, root cause analysis and defect reduction to be utilized by all Platforms. Performed in a Program Manager role for an affiliation with BCBS plan. Lead multiple core project teams to a successful implementation that garnered Large Account growth for the affiliate. Peers, and clients know me to be a dedicated, focused yet fair manager. I require continual process improvement, cross training, knowledge sharing and process documentation. Planning is key to know the stakeholders needs and continual assessment that needs are being met. Planning is key but execution is critical.
