About Renee Gorr

As the Director of behavioral health at Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group, Inc, I oversee the delivery of quality care and services to patients with mental health and substance use disorders. I have more than six years of experience in this role, and previously, I was the community education manager for the same department, where I developed and implemented outreach and prevention programs. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications and Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University. I have skills in social networking, geriatrics, and communication, which help me to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including patients, families, staff, providers, and community partners. My core competencies include strategic planning, program development, budget management, staff supervision, and quality improvement. My mission is to promote the well-being and recovery of our patients by providing compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our team and our patients.
