After working in an acute care/hospital setting for many years, I am so grateful and honored to have a nursing practice that promotes holistic health and wellness through the exciting and emerging field of integrative nurse coaching. Health and well-being is almost always driven by our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, choices, and behavior, yet our current system doesn't really address this when it comes to health care. As I partner with my patients, I recognize that radical healing can and does happen through a nurse coaching relationship which integrates nursing/medical expertise and an energizing, nurturing coach approach. What a gift to connect and collaborate with others as they come up with sustainable solutions and improvements to their health and well-being! I also experience great satisfaction working as a school nurse, and find that my nurse coaching skills add a unique dimension to my work, one that supports the well-being of students and staff at my campus.
