I’m a storyteller at heart. As an experienced writer, I’m passionate about finding that “something special” about other people’s stories. With my background as a journalist, I understand how to generate content and pitch story ideas that media outlets want. Here are a few tidbits about me and my work- I speak ”reporter.” I’m a strong writer and editor with media relations training who is deadline-driven - As a general assignment reporter, I handled everything from breaking news to special assignments, including exclusive interviews with Presidents George W. Bush and George H. W. Bush - I use my communications and organizational skills to develop enrichment programs and coordinate college and career prep events that benefit my local school district. I also mentor high school students in a leadership program I helped to create - My grandfather used to say that I talked so much as a child that he was sure I would grow up to be a lawyer. Instead, I used my voice to become a broadcast journalist and tell interesting stories Now I use my skills as an award-winning reporter and communications specialist to help brands tell their stories and develop a memorable narrative.
