About Renier Schwarzer

Throughout my life I have had a passion to understand and question the world around me, this curiosity drove me through school and a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Studies and my work in Research and Development have taught me the importance of technical rigour and how to pragmatically solve problems based on known fundamentals, to meet the needs of the client or project. My work history and education are focused around critical interpretation of data, economics, modelling, improvement of chemical processes while working with various teams to ensure delivery of the project. I have gained valuable experience in working with products that end up in various applications. The work focused on sales performance, operational & technical support and business reporting. In my career I look for opportunities that stretch my ability, where I can grow professionally. The art of building a successful business and steering its strategy to ensure sustainable growth is something that intrigues me, either by building on the fundamental structure of business or steering the shape of its growth.
