About Reshma Sharma

I am a Chemical Engineer fundamentally by training. I am deeply fascinated with the state-of-the-art knowledge on Climate Change and the corresponding solutions that we can look into on a regional scale. Currently, I am pursuing my doctoral research in the field of climate studies, and the broad theme of my research is Energy-Water-Climate nexus studies. Furthermore, I have TAed the courses related to sustainability, such as 'sustainability engineering principles' here at IIT Bombay. Before getting into pursuing PhD, I worked as an assistant professor at an engineering college and taught chemical engineering thermodynamics to UG 2nd and 3rd year students. My expertise lies in Optimisation, MILP, future regional climate change analysis, LCA, data analysis, climate change impact assessments, energy sector adaptations in the face of climate change, curriculum development, and communication skills. Apart from this, I like trading and investments, love to read a lot, travel to many places, and experience different cultures. I am highly motivated to look after my physical and mental well-being.
