With over 15 years of experience across education and corporate sectors, I’ve built my career around one central purpose — empowering learners and educators through leadership, innovation, and empathy.Currently serving as the Head of the Department – Social Sciences at Meru International School, I lead academic initiatives that blend global perspectives with experiential learning. My role allows me to liaise as the Exam Department Head, scrutinize question papers, oversee assessments, and ensure seamless exam execution. Beyond academics, I take pride in mentoring students for JMUN, training them in General Speakers List (GSL) research and data analysis, and recruiting and guiding teachers to foster instructional excellence.My work also involves curriculum design for Global Perspectives, organizing Social Fests, Carnivals, and Assemblies, and driving Cambridge-aligned pedagogy — strengthened by my Cambridge certification in Focus on Assessment.Before Meru, my journey through The Shri Ram Universal School and Manthan International School enriched my understanding of curriculum innovation and values-based education. I coordinated Virtual Exchange Programs, implemented Research & Referral (RR) learning models, and led assemblies that celebrated integrity, accountability, and trustworthiness. Earlier, at Vista Pearson School, I focused on classroom engagement, creative pedagogy, and teacher training — helping students and colleagues alike discover new dimensions of learning.Interestingly, my career began in the corporate world — at Amazon, Thomson Reuters, and Cognizant — where I honed my skills in leadership, data analysis, and process management as a Team Lead – Financial Analyst. That foundation strengthened my analytical mindset and operational discipline, which continue to inform my approach to school leadership today.At the heart of it all, I believe in education that inspires curiosity, nurtures character, and builds global citizens — one classroom, one conversation, and one idea at a time.
