Radiology manager with 25 years of medical imaging experience. Highly motivated healthcare professional currently working in an academic medical center, where I very much enjoy the teaching atmosphere. This has provided opportunities to work alongside a variety of people such as administrators, physicians, medical residents, medical students, radiography students and various staff members of the healthcare team. I am a people person, so developing rapport and communicating with patients, physicians and all personnel involved come naturally. I am skilled in department staffing, daily workflow coordination, staff training and competencies, performance improvement projects and patient satisfaction. Other duties include department inventory management, payroll processing and a working knowledge of charge master/CPT code maintenance. IT responsibilities include Radiology Information System implementation team, set up and maintenance of production and test envirionment. Also a radiology resource for implementation team of hospital EMR.
