Took Corporation's debt load from $3.2 Billion to $1.2 Billion and cut annual debt service payments from $321M to $175M. Restructured and/or terminated innumerable financings. Obtained much-needed, cost-effective new debt for capital projects, including two large FRA RRIF debt facilities ($563 Million in 2011, and $2.45 Billion in 2016), attractive capital market placements and bank facilities. Initiated commercial paper facility and revolving credit arrangement to bolster corporate liquidity. Instrumental in positioning Amtrak for S&P credit rating upgrade to Single 'A'.
