About Rex Modica

Just recently moved back to California and looking for work. I really believe through the diverse companies that I’ve been employed through I’ve showed up to the expectations and then some, probably faster than expected too. I have a high drive to complete whatever task is at hand at a very high and effective level. I am very friendly and get along with others my age as well people out of my age group. Working with others or working by self does not affect the level I can work at, I just like to get the job done. I’ve always been doing some kind of work whether it was small landscaping jobs as a kid or preforming tire changes on diesel trucks and trailers. My diversity in the work field really helps me to adapt at a high level and to fit right in. First payroll job was at a warehouse manufacturing beer taps and shot machines for companies such as Patron, Jack Daniels, and fireball. I was laid off from lack of work and then had to get a job quick because of the situation I was In and landed in McDonald’s for a few months. Work was easy for me and I got to learn a lot of team working skills and dealing with a lot of customers as well. The plan was to find a better job and I did. I landed at a diesel mechanic service staring out cleaning trucks and diesel trailers operating special equipment to do so. I worked my way into the shop preforming weekly and monthly services and tire changes on trucks and trailers and helping with other engine work. I was moving to Texas with family so I left that job and started overnight stocking at HEB very shortly after I arrived in Texas. This was difficult at first but adapted easily to the new sleeping schedule and kept me more open to working any shift at a high level. All these jobs have tied me into a great employee and I can’t wait to be making money again.
