Umesi, Rex Abdulazeez is a criminologist by academic training, an astute and seasoned banker with an industry experience that spanned almost two decades and still counting, having had a stint with Union Homes Savings and Loans Limited (a PMI and subsidiary company of Union Bank Nigeria Plc), Fidelity Bank Plc and presently with United Bank for Africa Plc, a spirited entrepreneur in the cocoon choked with viable and creative ideas of enormous economic benefits. He is possessed with sound writing and oral communication skills subtly alloyed with stern verbal confidence and oratory prowess, a team lead and motivator per excellence (as evinced in the over three billion Naira deposit liability position that has left him on an enviable and perpetual performance appraisal rating overtime). He is always ready to learn and relearn from superior opinions that are deftly presented and naturally saddled with hard and empirical facts. Rex is a result oriented and self motivated individual, having attended various inter and intra seminars, workshops and trainings organized by respected companies e.g Zolts Ltd, The Banker Academy etc, he is highly equipped to undertake and deliver on tasks and challenges of delicate and intricate nature with less or no supervision. He also fanatically believes that everything could be possibly achieved with positive mindset. This he encapsulated in his mantra “If life and death is possible, then everything else is”.He devoutly subscribes to the assertion that our achievements speaks louder and clearer than our activities thus leaving posterity to objectively appraise us as we display tangible and indelible footprints on time’s sand.
