About Rexella Dwomoh

Rexella is a consultant, researcher, and policy developer who utilizes equity, diversity, and inclusion frameworks (e.g, anti-racism, anti-ableism, etc.) to address complex systemic and societal issues. She is passionate about enhancing economic and social inclusion for equity-deserving groups. She promotes utilizing the social determinants of health model to tackle inequities by enhancing access to resources that improve quality of life. Rexella is particularly interested in using a solution-focused lens to tackle complex issues in service environments, program delivery, and policy design to create equitable and sustainable access to community services. She creates systemic change by utilizing her critical and intersectional lens to address service delivery gaps and ensure that service users' diverse needs are represented through culturally and contextually sensitized policy and program development. Rexella has received many prestigious awards and scholarships. She has been identified as an exemplary leader through community engagement, a great innovator in increasing equitable approaches to supporting diverse communities, and courageous in leading sensitive conversations to advance research, policy, and practice for historically marginalized communities.
