Mr. Yang has been practicing law since December 1996. For almost 10 years, Mr. Yang was an Attorney and Supervising Partner at a litigation law firm in downtown Los Angeles where he oversaw, managed, supervised, and personally trained the attorneys in his department. Mr. Yang has experience in claims involving wrongful death, products liability, catastrophic injuries, premises liability, asbestos litigation, class actions, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and medical devices litigation. Mr. Yang also has extensive law and motion and appellate experience and has argued before the California Court of Appeal on numerous occasions. Notable published decisions involving Mr. Yang include Maxton v. Western States Metals (2012) 203 Cal.App.4th 81 [recognizing raw materials supplier defense for supplier of raw stainless steel metal]; Fasuyi v. Permatex (2008) 167 Cal.App.4th 681 [reversing default judgment in toxic tort action]; and Stadish v. Superior Court (Southern California Gas 71 Cal.App.4th 1130 [regarding the trial court’s responsibilities in identifying trade secret information in a benzene-related toxic tort action]. During law school, Mr. Yang was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal, served on the advisory board for the Journal of National Security, and was an officer of the Mississippi Moot Court Board, serving as the Bench Memorandum Chairperson.
