My name is Reynold John and during my tenure I have held a vast array of positions including General Manager, Director of Operations, Operations Manager and Supply Chain Manager. In all of my roles, it was crucial that I be able to direct multiple levels of staff and ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. One example of this would include being responsible for the seamless relocation from our old facility to the current location over a weekend. Another example of my success was moving on time delivery reliability index from 92% to 98%. Attention to detail was a very large part of my duties, to ensure accurate billing and compliance with all of the transportation rules and regulations. Another one of my primary functions was to supervise and conduct productivity and employee performance reviews in order to ensure safety codes and standards. In the event of an employee not meeting expectations, a re-certification was performed or if need be disciplinary action was taken. Customer visits were also key to ensuring the continued satisfaction of all parties involved. Cost control was also another vital aspect of the job which needed to be monitored in order to meet budgetary expectations. An example of this would be the overseeing of cost statements and reports and adjusting staffing levels to ensure the optimization of productivity. Being involved with several work groups required organizational skills to manage training schedules while maintaining productivity.
