About Reza Setayeshfar

As an English Language Instructor and a Master's student in Education at Simon Fraser University, I combine my academic knowledge and practical skills to create engaging and effective English language lessons for learners of various levels and backgrounds. With a CELTA certification and a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, I have a strong foundation in the principles and methods of English language teaching and assessment. I have over four years of experience as an English Language Teacher at Pardisan Language Institute, where I designed and executed communicative and learner-centered courses for different age groups and proficiency levels. In addition, I have taught many IELTS classes as a part of my teaching experience at Pardisan Language Institute. I also worked as a Teacher Trainer at Tehran Institute of Technology for one year, providing professional development support and feedback to new and inexperienced teachers. Additionally, I have been an Online Instructor since January 2022, delivering interactive and accessible lessons and assessing reading and listening skills online, using various platforms and tools. I am passionate about enhancing my teaching practice and keeping up with the current trends in the North American Contexts, especially the Canadian education sector. I am seeking new opportunities to apply my expertise and contribute to the learning outcomes and success of diverse and motivated students.
