About Rhane Samuels

Through the previous years of experience in dealing with high profile corporations and clients in managing successful delivery of services through an audio visual outlet, it has enabled me to develop a set of skills that can translate in my work and personal life. I have had the ability to perform both as a part of a team and as an individual in providing a safe and positive working relationship between my fellow workers and clients. More than 12 years ago, I got my start in the technical event industry working in account management, sales and operations for a small specialist audio visual company whilst also working in retail. Moving on then to a project management, logistics, team leader & sales role with a larger event service business, I gained the grounding and five star venue experience that prepared me for my first role with the Encore business as Event Staging Manager. Throughout my career I’ve believed that creating a cohesive team that has mutual respect for one another is key to an efficient, structured working environment. My style is firm but fair, understanding and appreciative. The thing I love most about my role is project managing audio visual infrastructure into venues and creating amazing events that enable our customers to engage with their audience through a creative, technical based medium and seeing the excitement and pride in my team when they bring a client’s vision to life. Having worked on thousands of events in my career, I most remember working with the Commonwealth Games Federation in 2018. The experience of working in an environment filled with such energy and with delegates from around the world certainly broadened my horizons.
