About Rhea Assomull

I am a marketing student from Alliance Manchester Business School, where I am completing my master's degree in September 2023. Before this, I obtained a bachelor's degree in social sciences from Nottingham Trent University. My core competencies include social media content creation, social media communications and hospitality.Recently, I worked as an event coordinator for AMBS, where I assisted in organizing a panel discussion and networking event on the role of social responsibility in employability. I liaised with companies, students, and faculty throughout and delivered a successful event for my fellow UoM students. I also worked as a marketing team member for Fuse TV and The Mancunion, where I managed their online presence, increased engagement, and provided insights on what University of Manchester students are up to. I enjoy collaborating with diverse and creative teams, and I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on society through marketing. I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have also worked in hospitality, retail, and charity sectors.
