About Rhea Palsule

Rhea is a UCLA ’19 graduate with a B.S. in Integrative Biology and Physiology. While at UCLA, she worked with the women’s soccer team as a student athletic trainer and was the President of her Sports Medicine Club where they would make monthly trips to a village in Tijuana, Mexico to donate sports equipment and educate the community about maintaining healthy lifestyles. After graduating from UCLA, she spent two years working for a nonprofit organization named CureCervicalCancer which brings access to cervical cancer screening and treatment services to underserved communities around the world. Through she has had the opportunity to travel to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Vietnam to establish cervical cancer prevention clinics and train local healthcare professionals in screening with visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) and thermal ablation treatment. Rhea will be attending the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine in the Fall of 2021 to pursue a career in medicine with the hopes to continue to impact rural and global communities.
