About Rhett Couture

I am currently the Director of FP & A at Ryze Claims Solutions, a rapidly growing, PE-backed insurance claim services business based in Tampa. In this position, I lead the annual budgeting and planning process across six departments, build and maintain medium- and long-term forecasts, create monthly and quarterly board materials and business reviews, and work on ad hoc strategic projects to drive business growth. Before Ryze, I was the VP of Finance at Big Happy, a mobile advertising start-up in New York, where I built the finance and accounting departments from the ground up and helped leadership raise a $2.5M Series A financing. I spent the first two years of my career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the energy and cannabis sectors in Calgary, AB, before joining Ionic Brands in 2018. At Ionic, I played a key role in helping the CEO raise over $40 million and take the company public in April 2019. I graduated from the full-time MBA program at the Goizueta School of Business in 2023 with a concentration in Business Analytics.
